The actual people on the boat

Meet the crew

Every Navy Blue Yachting day is run by one of these five people — not freelancers, not seasonal stand-ins. Real names, real licences, real years on this water. The captain on your day will most likely be one of the people below.

Ante, Co-founder & Engineer

Ante

Co-founder & Engineer

15 seasons · based in Split

Co-founder with over 15 years on the sea and a background in shipbuilding. Ante keeps both boats in peak condition and personally inspects each one before every departure — engine, safety kit, life jackets, radio, flares. The boats run the way they do because he built and maintains them.

Marinko, Co-founder & Skipper

Marinko

Co-founder & Skipper

20 seasons · based in Split

Co-founder and one of the two captains who built Navy Blue Yachting from a single boat. Over 20 years on the Adriatic and a lifelong passionate fisherman — he reads sea conditions the way most people read a weather app. If you are on a flagship Blue Cave day in shoulder season, he is most likely the captain.

Paolo, Skipper

Paolo

Skipper

10 seasons · based in Split

Skipper with more than 10 years of Adriatic experience. Calm under pressure, methodical about safety, and the captain we trust with the most cautious guests — families with young kids, first-time-on-a-boat travellers, anyone nervous about open water. With Paolo at the wheel the day is smooth on purpose.

Luka, Sailor & Guest Host

Luka

Sailor & Guest Host

5 seasons · based in Split

Five seasons on board and the crew member most guests remember by name. Luka pours drinks, fits snorkel masks, helps kids climb back up the ladder, and answers every question about Dalmatian islands you can think of. If the boat feels like a relaxed afternoon among friends, that is largely Luka.
