How Radisson guests reach our boats
The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Split is on Put Trstenika 19, about 3 km east of the central Split Riva. It is a 10-minute taxi (€8–€12), a 30-minute coastal walk, or a complimentary transfer from the resort lobby arranged with us when you book your tour.
For the early-morning Blue Cave departure (07:30), the complimentary transfer is the practical choice — door-to-dock in 10 minutes, no taxi-app stress at 06:45. For the half-day 13:00 tour, walking the seafront promenade and grabbing lunch on the Riva is a lovely build-up.
Most-booked tours by Radisson guests
The Radisson Blu attracts a mix of resort-stay families, couples on quieter holidays, and corporate guests adding a leisure day. Booking patterns:
- Blue Cave 5-Island Tour — €119/person, the must-do route
- Blue Lagoon & Trogir half day — easy with kids 5+
- Hvar & Pakleni Private Charter — slower, ideal for couples
- Bespoke family or corporate group day — co-ordinated with Radisson events
Radisson-specific timing tips
Radisson's breakfast service runs 06:30–11:00 — one of the earliest starts in Split, which makes it unusually compatible with our 07:30 boat departure. You can have a proper sit-down breakfast at 06:30 and still make the transfer easily.
Coming back to the resort at 17:30, the Radisson's spa and pool are excellent for a post-tour wind-down. The hotel's restaurants are good but the Riva and old town have more dining variety; we'd suggest a taxi in for dinner if you've had two consecutive resort meals.
Resort families and the half-day option
Many Radisson guests come for a longer holiday with kids, and the resort makes that easy. For families, our half-day Blue Lagoon & Trogir tour is the strongest fit — 5 hours, shorter open-water legs, calm shallow water at the lagoon for younger kids, an ice-cream stop in Trogir.
It leaves at 13:00, which means you can have a slow Radisson breakfast, a morning on the resort pool, and still get the lagoon afternoon. You're back at the hotel by 18:00 for dinner.
Corporate and group bookings from Radisson
The Radisson hosts conferences and incentive groups regularly, and we routinely build group boat days for them — typically a private charter for 8–12 people on the Hvar & Pakleni route, sometimes with a pre-booked Hvar lunch and a chilled bottle on board. The resort's events team is excellent at co-ordinating; we work directly with them on logistics.
Tell us your group size and dates a week or two ahead and we'll prepare a quote and an itinerary that fits. For larger incentive trips we run multiple boats in convoy, with co-ordinated swim and lunch stops, and we can prepare branded onboard collateral (water bottles, towels, photo backdrops) for company events. We've handled corporate days from Microsoft regional teams, several finance conferences and a handful of incentive trips for European pharma groups.
Invoicing is straightforward — we issue a single VAT invoice in EUR or USD against your event PO, and the Radisson finance team is familiar with our payment terms. If you need a custom contract for an enterprise procurement process, we have a template ready to share.
The Radisson resort day — pool, spa, and what to skip
The Radisson Blu's resort facilities are genuinely excellent — heated outdoor pool, large indoor pool, full Caudalie-branded spa, kids' club, and a private pebble section of Žnjan beach. For a 5-night Split holiday, the right pattern is usually: arrival day spent at the pool, one boat day with us, one Diocletian's Palace day in central Split via taxi, one Žnjan / Marjan beach day, and a recovery final day at the spa.
Specifically what's worth doing at the resort: book a 60-minute Caudalie facial on a non-tour day (the spa team is excellent), use the indoor pool early morning when it's empty, eat at the Olea restaurant for at least one fish dinner. Specifically what to skip: the resort's optional excursion packages are mostly outsourced to coach companies. For boat days, book direct with us; the difference in experience between our small-group speedboat and an out-of-resort coach tour is significant.
Žnjan beach itself, just below the resort, is one of Split's longest pebble beaches with calm shallow water and beach bars along the promenade. Walk south along Žnjan in the morning for 15 minutes and you reach the quieter section locals use — far better than the resort's reserved area for swimming.

Frequently asked questions
When is the best month for a boat day from the Radisson?
June and September are the sweet spots — warm sea, calm weather, smaller crowds. The Radisson is open year-round but the boat tours run April–November, with the best Blue Cave light in late spring and early autumn.
How far is the Radisson Blu Split from the boat tour meeting point?
About 3 km — 10 minutes by taxi or a 30-minute coastal walk to the central Split Riva. We also offer a complimentary transfer from the resort lobby when you book your tour with us.
Does the Radisson serve early breakfast on tour mornings?
Yes — breakfast starts at 06:30, which is unusually early for Split. You can have a full sit-down breakfast before the 07:30 Blue Cave departure, with no need for a takeaway.
What is the best tour from Radisson Blu for families?
The Blue Lagoon & Trogir half-day. Shorter open-water legs, calm shallow swimming, an ice-cream stop in Trogir, and you are back at the resort by 18:00 for dinner.
Can you handle a corporate group boat tour from the Radisson?
Absolutely — we regularly run private charter days for Radisson corporate groups, typically 8–12 people on the Hvar & Pakleni route. Tell us your group size and dates a week ahead for the smoothest co-ordination.
How does the Radisson transfer work?
Complimentary, included with your direct booking. Our crew meets you in the Radisson lobby 20 minutes before departure. The hotel concierge knows our crew; just let reception know we are coming.
Is the Radisson location good for a beach day after the boat tour?
Yes — Žnjan beach is right below the Radisson. After the boat, many guests do a quick swim there before showering at the hotel. The pool and spa are also excellent post-tour.
Where do we park if we drove to the Radisson for a holiday?
The Radisson has secure on-site parking. Leave the car for the duration of your boat tour and we will transfer you to the Riva. Parking near the dock is heavily restricted.
Do Radisson Blu guests get special tour pricing?
No hotel-tier markups — we keep one honest rate for everyone. Radisson guests do get complimentary transfer, priority weather reschedules and concierge co-ordination at no extra fee.
